Services
The Surgeon offers general surgical advice and second opinions online. You submit your information and reports securely through this website, and your consultation then takes place by Zoom or WhatsApp.
Consultation fees: 15 minutes: ₹2,000.00 · 30 minutes: ₹3,500.00 (INR)
One video consultation of 15 or 30 minutes, as you choose, by Zoom or WhatsApp video. Reviewing the symptoms, history and reports you submit beforehand is included — there is no separate report-review fee.
Surgical symptom consultations
Discuss symptoms that may have a surgical cause — for example abdominal pain, lumps, hernias, gallbladder symptoms or anorectal problems — and what assessment may be needed.
Blood test and investigation report reviews
Upload blood tests, ultrasound, CT or MRI reports, endoscopy findings and other investigation reports before your appointment. Reviewing them is included in the consultation fee; there is no separate report-review charge.
Surgical second opinions
If an operation has been recommended, you can discuss whether it is appropriate for you, what it involves and what the alternatives may be.
Discussion of proposed operations
Understand what a proposed operation involves, its expected recovery and the questions you may wish to ask your treating surgeon.
Treatment alternatives, risks and benefits
A balanced discussion of operative and non-operative options, including the possible benefits, risks and alternatives.
Appropriate postoperative concerns
Non-urgent questions after an operation may be discussed. Urgent postoperative problems — such as fever, wound breakdown, bleeding or worsening pain — need prompt assessment by your operating team or local emergency services.
Recommendations for further assessment or referral
Where appropriate, the surgeon may recommend further tests, a physical examination or referral to a local specialist.
When online consultation is not enough
Some conditions cannot be assessed safely online. Many surgical problems require a physical examination, urgent assessment or ongoing care from a local treating team. If the surgeon considers that your case needs this, you will be told so, and the consultation may not proceed online. Online advice does not replace your local doctors, and no prescription is issued through this service.
